There is so much product in your hair I could season a wok...

Oh hey there little blog. At this record setting pace I may end up with 12 entries and then quit til next year.

I have been incredibly, undeniably, BUSY. And not just, running errands odds & ends busy. I could only wish for that. It is the busy of: You may notice a running theme....
  • 5-7 pages + Bibliography in Spanish research paper
  • A 2 page report on a topic TBA by professor in Spanish
  • 750-1200 words in Spanish creative story
  • Reading 3 stories a week in SPANISH
  • 8 page business proposal in Spanish plus investor presentation (in Spanish)
  • 8-10 minute presentation in Spanish on Business
  • Commercial for Business proposal of 30-45 seconds in Spanish
  • Translations in Spanish-English, English-Spanish
  • Finance Tests/Quizzes (luckily in English)
  • Moving out of my miserable living situation home as fast as possible after graduation
  • Sorority.
  • Mandatory events from Sorority
At least when I had surgery last semester, there was a simple excuse for everything: Oh, I'm sorry. My dominant right arm, you know, the one in the sling here, isn't functioning properly today/yesterday/on the due date. I will have it to you within 3 days. But no. None of these teachers had me last semester & know that having 3 permanent anchors in your shoulder can still cause serious problems in your day to day life because according to the dr, I won't be "at full use until September at the earliest".
Making matters worse, I fell on the damn shoulder. So it makes sleeping more painful, moving more painful, and when I roll my arm, I hear awkward clicking. It should be a banner appointment in May.

BUT....the light at the end of the tunnel is there. May 14, 10 am. My time will be here. I will be wearing some tacky robe & gown (I did get the sorority thing but I got the chords too. I hate standing out obnoxiously so sometimes) and a dinky hat that seriously won't fit. Everyone know's they don't fit. But I will be ready to walk across that stage and have the Jordan Hare announcer say my name and I will literally tackle Jay Gouge for more than one reason. What are those?
  1. NO MORE OUT OF STATE TUITION. Seriously. I've looked at the little "pay plans". Since I'm not starting a cushy job right away, I'm basically scrapping it all together to pay. AWESOME. Not.
  2. NO MORE PAPERS IN SPANISH!!!!! I am telling you. I think the whole damn department got together and decided to screw over the ones doing a capstone and said HAHA! Let's make this semester miserable & give them an obnoxious workload that makes them want to die.
  3. Going Alumni from the Sorority
  4. I will also tackle him for my last moments of pent up "I hate you & Jay Jacobs for firing Tommy" anger, which will turn into a hug for hiring Gene Chizik. It turns out to be a win win here.
I am sad to leave Auburn, but I know going to Orlando will be a good change for the time being. So War Damn :)

Speaking of win-wins....I am loving Glee so far this season. The Madonna episode was a good episode 2, considering the first one back was a bit of a downer. They need to get rid of Jesse St. James in my personal opinion, but I have until June 8th (season finale) to see what develops. And hey, Idina, will you sing next time you appear? That'd be awesome.

This is long enough. Peace out girl scouts.
