I Understand Why Guys Are Mean To Girls...

This weekend was once that I went and spent at home... Again?! You cry...I know I know. You would think as a senior in college I would be savoring my time at my favorite place on Earth, but I digress. I am upset and tired of some of the mediocrity found on the campus and the lackadaisical attitude and the overall asshole-ness I keep running across in my experiences in the library. It is annoying, obnoxious and downright rude.

Anywho, While at home the family & I went out to dinner and my mother & sister overheard a conversation in the bathroom. Basically, it was an adult woman's birthday and she was telling her friend how she was NOT interested in guy and just sleeping with him and he had PAID for the whole table's dinner (8 people) and was taking her SHOPPING the next day. UNBELIEVABLE. I was appalled when I heard that because it gives men a complete reason to talk crap about how women use them.

I find this unacceptable for many reasons. One being the fact that I would never do this to a person. I find that if you really can not find the pleasure of someone's company enjoyable than you need to let them know because apparently in this situation he was clearly wanting more. I find it disheartening that girls constantly down talk males for being "users" when the female population is basically "the pot calling the kettle black" in this instance.

School this week I hope goes by quickly. Celebrating my sister's birthday this upcoming Friday. I hope it is awesome (which of course it will be. It's a birthday by george!) And then coming back to celebrate a bachelorette party for a friends upcoming nuptials on the 13th of March, which I will be out of town for. Then next week I leave Thursday for spring break. Hopefully all goes well that week.

I do feel this is getting a bit lengthy, but I hope everyone who reads this (who am I kidding, no one reads this pile of poo) is keeping Chile in their thoughts. An 8.8 earthquake is nothing to play with.
